Yeah, I use ooVoo too. Or I’ve been experimenting with it. It’s a good solution, especially when you want to talk to someone who doesn’t have a Skype account. I was hoping to do a screencast on how ooVoo works and its plusses and minuses relative to Skype.

Found your blog from a tweet by Andrew of Mixergy. I wrote a post and shot a video about how I do my remote phone interviews here that might also be helpful to you. I do the interviews over landline or cell phone rather than skype, but it’s another option:
